Work asked me to do something for their Christmas card. I work for an Interactive Agency.
To cut a long story short, after a company-wide upgrade the agency had a lot of old mobiles gathering dust. We took these, built and hoisted a gigantic interactive chandelier/mobile that plays Christmas jingles in our reception.
If you feel especially sadistic this holiday, you can play the thing live from there website and annoy the people in the company’s reception area: xmas.lbi.co.uk
Concept video by magazine publisher Bonnier and BERG on one potential future for magazines called the MAG+. Extremely intuitive and clever design. I love how they get rid of that stupid digital page turning experience for something that acknowledges the digital screen.
Also worth mentioning is how they present the video. The “talking over some graphics” style screen cast is overhauled and presented in a much more immersive and compelling way.

Yeah it’s been awhile. Things have been super hectic right now for me between the holidays, travel, work, and a couple of new projects. I’ll post up sometime this week (hopefully) with updates on all the goings on.
